About

The Town of High Level is located in Northern Alberta with a population of approx 3823 people in 2015. Incorporated in 1965, The Town of High Level straddles the Mackenzie Highway, it is the gateway to the Northwest Territories and a perfect place to stop for fuel, food and family friendly activities. Our economic drivers include: oil and gas, forestry, agriculture and the service industries.

Farmer’s Market

Firefighters Ball 

Held the first weekend in October, this event focuses on celebrating the work of the High Level Fire Department. 

Fest-of-Ale

This event is held in October as a fundraiser for the High Level Play Association.
