About

The Town of High Level is located in Northern Alberta with a population of approx 3823 people in 2015. Incorporated in 1965, The Town of High Level straddles the Mackenzie Highway, it is the gateway to the Northwest Territories and a perfect place to stop for fuel, food and family friendly activities. Our economic drivers include: oil and gas, forestry, agriculture and the service industries.

Farmer’s Market

Every Saturday 10:00am – 2:00pm  all summer long.

Firefighters Ball 

Held the first weekend in October, this event focuses on celebrating the work of the High Level Fire Department. 

Fest-of-Ale

This event is held in October as a fundraiser for the High Level Play Association. 

Midnight Madness

Last weekend in November.

Santa Claus Parade and Museum Christmas Open House

First weekend in December – FREE family fun event.
